Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Christ Does the Work of Judgment With the Truth” (I)
137-A-1
“The work of the last days is to separate all according to their kind, to conclude the management plan of God, for the time is near and the day of God has come. God brings all who have entered His kingdom, that is, all those who have been loyal to Him to the end, into the age of God Himself. However, before the coming of the age of God Himself, the work that God desires to do is not to observe the deeds of man or to inquire about the lives of man, but to judge his rebellion, for God shall purify all those who come before His throne. All those who have followed the footsteps of God to this day are those who have come before the throne of God, hence all who accept the last of God’s work are those to be purified by God. In other words, all those who accept the last of God’s work are those who will be judged by God.
As previously spoken of, judgment would begin with the house of God. This “judgment” refers to the judgment God does today on those who come before His throne in the last days. Perhaps there are those who believe in such supernatural imaginings as that when the last days have arrived, God will erect a big table in the heavens, upon which a white tablecloth will be spread, then God will sit upon a great throne and all men will kneel on the ground. God shall then reveal all sins laid against each man to determine whether he shall ascend to heaven or be sent down to the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. No matter what the imaginings of man, the substance of God’s work cannot be altered. The imaginings of man are nothing but the constructs of man’s thoughts and come from the brain of man, summed up and pieced together from what man has seen and heard. Therefore I say, however brilliant the images conceived, they are still no more than a drawing and no substitute for the plan of God’s work. After all, man has been corrupted by Satan, so how can he then fathom the thoughts of God? Man conceives the work of judgment by God to be particularly fantastic. Man believes that since it is God Himself doing the work of judgment, then it must be of the most tremendous scale and incomprehensible to mortals; it must resound through the heavens and shake the earth, otherwise how can it be the work of judgment by God? Man believes that as this is the work of judgment, then God must be particularly imposing and majestic as He works, and those being judged must be howling with tears and on their knees begging for mercy. The scene must be a grand sight and very rousing…. Every man conceives God’s work of judgment to be legendary. Do you know, however, that long after God has begun the work of judgment among men, you are still nestled in sleep? Do you know, at the time that you believe God’s work of judgment has officially begun, it shall already be the time when God changes heaven and earth? At that time, perhaps you will have only just understood the meaning of life, but the merciless work of punishment of God shall bring you, still slumbering, into hell. Only then will you suddenly realize that God’s work of judgment has already concluded.
Let us not waste precious time and talk no more of these abhorrent and detestable topics. Let us speak instead of what constitutes judgment. When it comes to the word “judgment,” you will think of the words that Jehovah spoke to all the places and the words of rebuke that Jesus spoke to the Pharisees. Though these words are stern, they are not God’s judgment of man; these words are only those spoken by God within different environments, that is, different settings, and they are unlike the words spoken by Christ as He judges man in the last days. In the last days, Christ uses a variety of truths to teach man, reveal the essence of man, and dissect his words and deeds. These words comprise various truths, such as man’s duty, how man should obey God, how man should be loyal to God, how man ought to live out the normal humanity, as well as the wisdom and disposition of God, and so on. These words are all focused on the essence of man and his corrupt disposition. In particular, those words that reveal how man spurns God are spoken in regard to how man is an embodiment of Satan and an enemy force against God. When God does the work of judgment, He does not simply make clear the nature of man with just a few words, but carries out revelation, dealing, and pruning over the long term. Such manner of revelation, dealing, and pruning cannot be substituted with ordinary words but with the truth that man does not possess at all. Only such manner of work is deemed judgment; only through such judgment can man be persuaded, be thoroughly convinced into submission to God, and gain true knowledge of God. What the work of judgment brings about is man’s understanding of the true face of God and the truth about his rebelliousness. The work of judgment allows man to gain much understanding of the will of God, of the purpose of God’s work, and of the mysteries that could not be understood by man. It also allows man to recognize and know his corrupt substance and the roots of his corruption, as well as to discover the ugliness of man. These effects are all brought about by the work of judgment, for the substance of such work is actually the work of opening up the truth, way, and life of God to all those who have faith in Him. This work is the work of judgment done by God. If you do not regard these truths with importance and constantly think of avoiding them or of a new way out apart from them, then I say you are a grievous sinner. If you have faith in God, yet seek not the truth or the will of God, nor do you love the way that brings you closer to God, then I say that you are one who is trying to evade judgment. You are a puppet and traitor who flees from the great white throne, and God will not spare any of the rebellious that escape from under His eyes. Such men shall receive even more severe punishment. Those who come before God to be judged and have been purified shall forever live in the kingdom of God. Of course, this is in the future.
The work of judgment is God’s own work, so it must naturally be done by God Himself; it cannot be done by man in His stead. Because judgment is the conquering of man through the truth, it is unquestionable that God still appears as the incarnate image to do this work among men. That is to say, in the last days, Christ shall use the truth to teach men around the earth and to make all truths known to them. This is God’s work of judgment. Many have a sour taste in their mouths about the second incarnation of God, for man finds it difficult to believe that God shall do the work of judgment as an incarnation. But I must tell you that often the work of God greatly exceeds man’s expectations and is difficult for the minds of men to accept. For men are merely maggots upon the earth, while God is the supreme One that fills the universe; the mind of man is akin to a pit of foul water that gives rise only to maggots, whereas each stage of the work directed by the thoughts of God is the fruit of God’s wisdom. Man constantly wishes to contend with God; then I say it is self-evident who stands to lose in the end. I exhort you all not to regard yourselves with more importance than gold. If others can accept the judgment of God, then why can you not? How much higher do you stand above others? If others can bow their heads before the truth, why can you not also do so? The great trend of God’s work is unstoppable. He will not repeat the work of judgment again for the sake of your “merits,” and you will sorely regret losing such a good opportunity. If you do not believe My words, then just wait for that great white throne in the sky to pass judgment upon you! You must know that all of the Israelites spurned and denied Jesus, yet the fact of Jesus’ redemption of mankind still spread to the ends of the universe. Is this not the fact that God has long ago fulfilled? If you are still awaiting Jesus to take you up to heaven, then I say that you are an obstinate piece of deadwood.[a] Jesus will not acknowledge a false believer such as you who is disloyal to the truth and seeks only blessings. On the contrary, He will show no mercy in casting you into the lake of fire to burn for tens of thousands of years.
Do you understand now what is judgment and what is truth? If you now understand, then I exhort you to submit to judgment, otherwise you shall never have the opportunity to be commended by God or to be taken by God into His kingdom. Those who only accept judgment but can never be purified, that is, those who flee in the midst of the work of judgment, shall forever be detested and rejected by God. Their sins are much more, and more grievous, than those of the Pharisees, for they have betrayed God and are rebels against God. Such men who are not worthy even to do service shall receive more severe, everlasting punishment. God shall not spare any traitor who once claimed loyalty with words yet then betrayed Him. Such men shall see retribution through punishment of the spirit, soul, and body. Does this not reveal the righteous disposition of God? Is this not exactly the purpose of God’s judgment and revelation of man? God shall place all those who perform all kinds of wicked deeds during the time of judgment in the place where evil spirits live for their fleshly bodies to be destroyed at the will of the spirits. Their bodies shall give off the odor of a corpse, and such is their fitting retribution. God writes down in their record books each and every one of the sins of those disloyal false believers, false apostles, and false workers, then when the time is right, He casts them amidst the unclean spirits so their entire bodies may be defiled by the spirits at will and, as a result, they will never be reincarnated and shall never again see the light. Those hypocrites who did service at one time but are unable to remain loyal to the end shall be numbered by God among the wicked so that they walk in the counsel of the wicked, becoming part of the disorderly multitude. In the end, God shall destroy them. God casts aside and takes no notice of those who have never been loyal to Christ or dedicated any effort, and shall destroy them all in the change of ages. They shall no longer exist on earth, much less gain passage into the kingdom of God. Those who have never been true to God but are forced into dealing with God shall be numbered among those who do service for His people. Only a small number of such men can survive, while the majority shall perish along with those who are not qualified even to do service. Finally, God shall bring into His kingdom all those who are of the same mind as God, the people and sons of God as well as those predestined by God to be priests. Such is the fruit begotten by God through His work. As for those who can belong to none of the categories set by God, they shall be numbered among the unbelievers. And you can surely imagine what their outcome shall be. I have already said to you all that I should say; the road that you choose shall be your decision to make. What you should understand is this: The work of God never waits for any that cannot keep pace with God, and the righteous disposition of God shows no mercy to any man.”

137-A-2
We just read “Christ Does the Work of Judgment With the Truth.” We read this passage because we’ll communicate how God passes judgment in the last days. Many people that first join the church request that we communicate this passage. Now there are many people who desire to understand God’s work and are willing to pursue the truth. This is a good thing. It means that these people are God’s preordained chosen ones. To meet the requirements of God’s chosen people, we are gathered here today specifically to communicate about God’s work of judgment in the last days.
The vision of believing in God is something that most people may understand, that is, to know the significance of God’s work. This is the truth you must have pertaining to the vision. Understanding the purpose of God’s work is the key and the basis of life entry. Some people may not quite understand what that means, so I’ll give you an example of why we say that knowing God’s work is the most important basis for life entry. Do people from the Age of Grace have any understanding of God’s work? Why do so many pastors walk the road of the Pharisees? Why have so many people with a strong will to be blessed still not woken up? Why has the religious community fallen and become the enemy of Christ of the last days? Why is this? It’s because the corruption of humanity is too deep. Humans that become descendants of Satan and the brood of Satan are all enemies of God. Even if corrupt people believe in the Lord, they do not pursue the truth. No matter how many years they believe in God, they do not know His work. In the end, they become evil forces that work against God. If people really pursue the truth, they are able to know God’s work, the meaning of God’s redemptive work in the Age of Grace, why God did the redemptive work, why God conducts His judgment in the last days and the relationship between the redemptive work and the judgment work. If religious people know all these truths, would they still dare to resist God? Even though they have Satan’s nature, they wouldn’t dare blatantly confront Christ of the last days. Therefore, isn’t knowledge of God’s work extremely important?
Many people have accepted God’s work in the last days, but they don’t pursue the truth. They do not see the significance of God’s judgment in the last days. They don’t know why God does His judgment work in the last days. They never see what final results will be achieved through God’s work of judgment. They remain muddled and confused. Can these kinds of people pursue the truth? Can they obey God’s judgment and chastisement? It’s not easy to attain this. People may have the will to do this, but fail to attain it. Why can people have the will to do it and still fail to attain it? This is because people have Satan’s disposition and nature, isn’t it? Many people understand this logic and are willing to obey God’s judgment and chastisement. They see other people not accepting His judgment and chastisement and they think it’s a shame. However, why is it that when they meet judgment and chastisement and when they are pruned and dealt with they are also unable to obey it? What is going on here? For some people, when you communicate the truth with them, they can accept it. However, when you seriously prune or deal with them, can they obey? Not easily. Some people care about self-respect. They betray God for the sake of self-respect and vanity. Is this a serious problem? We used to often say, “Why can people betray God at any time?” You don’t know what minute, what day or in what situation you will suddenly encounter God’s judgment and chastisement. It’s easy for people to fall; it’s very easy for people to fall there. What is the root of this? The root cause is that people have satanic natures and dispositions. You see now as soon as people talk, the words they use and their tone are those of a satanic nature. Where is Satan’s disposition mainly manifested? Arrogant, conceited, self-centered, self-righteous, unwilling to obey anyone, speaking to others with an attitude of contempt for them, even contempt of the truth. Is this not a satanic disposition? Therefore, God does His judgment in the last days according to humanity’s corrupt disposition and the overall degree of their corruption. What are the results of God’s judgment? You should understand a bit after listening to the words of God. If you pursue the truth, the results that God seeks to achieve in His judgment work during the last days will be completely clear. At that time, you will be interested in God’s judgment; you will like it, thirst for it, pursue it, and actively cooperate instead of resist. If you do not know about God’s judgment, is it easy for you to obey God’s judgment and chastisement? It’s not easy at all. Even if you understand God’s words, you cannot do it. Even if you have listened to numerous sermons and you are able to speak a lot of doctrines, the hardest thing will still be obeying God’s judgment and chastisement. In the lessons of obeying God, what is the hardest part to obey and enter? Obeying God’s judgment and chastisement. The hardest part of obeying God is obeying His judgment and chastisement. This is definitely the most difficult one. God’s judgment and chastisement in the last days is the process of exposing those who pursue the truth and those who hate the truth. Why do religious communities refuse to accept Christ’s judgment in the last days? Because the truths that Christ expresses in the last days are all judgments of man. On the surface, they all appear to be convicting man. There doesn’t appear to be even one sentence in His words that blesses man or is in line with people’s conceptions. Therefore, after they read His words, they reject anything He says. If Christ of the last days praises religious pastors and elders, allows them to enter the heavenly kingdom and gives them rewards, would the religious pastors and elders not accept Him? They definitely would accept Him. As soon as they see that Christ’s words are judging them and that the words Christ uses to expose them are just like the words that the Lord Jesus used to expose and rebuke the Pharisees, they deny, reject, resist, and condemn Him. As soon as they take such a contradictory, convicting, resisting and even blasphemous attitude toward Christ of the last days, their outcomes are sealed; they are destined to be punished and destroyed. What does this prove? People that reject God’s judgment and chastisement will be forsaken and exposed. They will come to no good end. Now you understand, right? Then we will start to formally communicate God’s words.
“The work of the last days is to separate all according to their kind, to conclude the management plan of God, for the time is near and the day of God has come.” Here, “The work of the last days is to separate all according to their kind,” what is meant by “to separate all according to their kind”? This reminds us of what the Lord Jesus said in the Age of Grace, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). He also made many prophecies. Everyone knows about all of these prophecies. They all refer to when the heavenly kingdom descends upon the earth what God will accomplish and fulfill. What is His most famous prophecy? The tares and wheat prophecy, the servants of good and evil prophecy. All of the Lord Jesus’ prophecies are fulfilled during God’s work in the last days. That is why God says, “The work of the last days is to separate all according to their kind.” Using the vernacular, this means that the different groups that everyone belongs to will be revealed. Then their endings will be determined accordingly. This is what it means. All types of people will be revealed. Then, what is meant by “all types of people”? Tares and wheat, this is a type of delineation. Wheat refers to people who have life, accept the truth and obey God; tares refers to those without life who do service but resist God. Have the wheat and tares been revealed in the last days? They have been revealed. Most of those that accept Almighty God are wheat, while those that do not accept Him are tares. However, there are a few tares among those who accept Almighty God. What is to be done with those tares? As God’s chosen people are growing their lives, the tares shall be distinguished, exposed and expelled from the church. What do the biblical prophecies say? “Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather you together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn” (Matthew 13:30). Everyone will be separated into their different types. Good and evil servants, true and false shepherds and true and false apostles will also be separated. Evil servants, false shepherds and false apostles have all been exposed. People will be revealed the same way in God’s house. Religious people need not even be mentioned; they shall all be forsaken! At each stage of God’s work, many people are forsaken. In the last days, He forsakes even more people, the entire religious world is forsaken. Some people will pick at these words and say, “You dare say that no one in the religious world will be able to return before God and be saved?” In God’s words, God says, “When I chastise the many peoples, those in the religious world will, in differing degrees, return to My kingdom.” “In differing degrees” refers to a small minority of people. Then, a small minority of people do not represent the entire religious world. Therefore, the religious world is forsaken; they will be destroyed by God. Do you understand?
137-A-3
God says, “The work of the last days is to separate all according to their kind, to conclude the management plan of God….” Why is it said that His work in the last days is the end of His management plan? God’s management plan has three main stages: Stage one is the work of the Age of Law. Stage two is the work of the Age of Grace. Stage three is the work of the Age of Kingdom. There is no doubt that the work in the Age of Kingdom is the work of judgment in the last days, that is, the work to conclude the age. Some people may ask, “Why is God’s judgment in the last days called the work of the Age of Kingdom?” We all know that when we talk about the kingdom, we’re referring to Christ’s kingdom where Christ reigns. The time when Christ reigns over His kingdom is therefore called the Age of Kingdom. If there is no age where Christ wields power on earth, then is there the Age of Kingdom? You all say no. Therefore, when Christ comes to earth in the last days to express the truth and do the work of judgment, this means that God is already wielding power on earth. It means that God’s words reign on earth. When God’s words are expressed, God sees them as fulfilled facts, and the Holy Spirit, the “seven-fold intensified Spirit,” will implement this work. Therefore, when Christ expresses His words, the truth to do His work, the Age of Kingdom has arrived on earth. After the Age of Kingdom has arrived, God’s words shall spread across thousands upon thousands of households and shall reign among His chosen people. When this happens, God’s kingdom shall appear. See now at least millions of people have laid the foundation of life in God’s words. There is no power on earth that can remove these people who have God’s word as their foundation. No country or evil force can do that. The Communist Government of China is the most evil of the satanic regimes that exist in the world today. It is hostile and resistant to God’s work in the last days. It fanatically seeks to suppress His work and brutally persecutes His work. What has the result been? Has it obtained its objective? No. The regime has been put to shame, completely humiliated. Now the kingdom of God is spreading further and further; its borders are constantly expanding. The more the great red dragon resists and suppresses, the faster Christ’s kingdom will expand and the more people will accept it. Isn’t this true? Therefore, we see the great red dragon’s machinations to resist God have been thoroughly broken, God’s chosen people that are being fanatically suppressed and brutally persecuted by the great red dragon are being made complete by God! See how God’s chosen people regularly eat and drink the words of God, listen to sermons and spread the gospel. Every month in China, at least 10,000 people accept God’s gospel of the last days. That’s how fast it’s spreading! The Chinese Communist government has its reasons for its fanatical persecution and suppression. As soon as it sees that so many people believe in Almighty God, it knows it must suppress it. If it does not, the Chinese people will all become believers of Almighty God. Then Almighty God will reign as king of China, displacing the Communist Party. Therefore, God’s work of judgment in the last days is done by God. His work has already come to pass. The great red dragon is the most evil satanic regime in the world, but even it cannot destroy God’s work, nor can it abolish it. What does this tell us? God has already defeated Satan. God has already obtained total glory. This is the truth; it is completely credible.
God’s defeat of Satan has already become a reality. Now the gospel of the kingdom is rapidly spreading in all directions to all nations. Speakers of all the different languages are gradually starting to accept it; its reach is continually spreading. When every nation and place has the church of Almighty God, and people there all preach as witnesses of Almighty God, then the great disaster will arrive and destroy all those who resist and condemn Him. Therefore, it says here, “to conclude the management plan of God….” When this stage of God’s work has reached its apex, the great disaster will descend. Then what will happen? Do you know? China will be the first place to be destroyed, quickly to be followed by the rest of the world. All countries, from the south to the north will be destroyed one by one. The countries of the world which belong to Satan and any evil force that resists God shall be destroyed. Then, tell me, based on these facts, is that not the conclusion of God’s management plan? “… to conclude the management plan of God….” How could we translate this sentence into the vernacular? I’ll say another sentence that is the most easily understood: This old world—the age of evil, will be destroyed. Whoever believes in Almighty God, that is, God’s chosen people in Christ’s kingdom shall survive. The next age will be the Age of Millennial Kingdom. Now that I have said this in the vernacular, do you understand it? Most of you say you understand. Then when you say “I understand,” are you saying you believe this in terms of reasoning, or are you saying that you can see this fact clearly now? Or are you saying you really understand the vision of God’s work? Can you say this clearly? It’s not easy! When people who understand the spirit hear this, they say, “Oh! I understand! This really is what’s going on. So the great disaster is the solution to this problem! I understand. I now know what the great disaster is. Now I understand why God will send down the great disaster. I understand His motive and the objectives He seeks to achieve.” As for the last days, God says, “My descent to the earth brings … all the disaster.” What will this accomplish? When God becomes flesh this time, He ushers in a new age and ends the old age. He brings all disasters with Him. Now you understand what this means, right? Now, what is the meaning of God’s judgment? To take everyone who thirsts for God to reveal Himself, truly loves God and truly believes in God, purify them and make them perfect through judgment and chastisement. After these people are made complete, He will use all types of disasters to destroy non-believers and those evil forces that resist God. This is what God means when He says that non-believers and all the evil forces that resist God will be dealt with by force. What does “dealt with by force” mean? It means using the great disaster to destroy them, understand? Then tell me, is it good that God will send down disasters? You all say it’s good. Then, will you continue to pray that humanity will be free from disasters? Will you still pray for world peace? Will you still pray for those in power? That is what religious people do. Are their prayers in accordance with God’s will? Not only are they not in accordance with God’s will, they run counter to God’s management plan; they completely fly in the face of God. Religious people pray for decades, entreating God to bring peace, save all humanity and save the ruling authorities. These decades of prayers have produced nothing. Why is that? They just don’t know that that is not God’s will. God seeks to purify and perfect all of His true believers, all those who love God. Then the disaster will come and destroy the evil forces that deny and resist Christ and are in enmity to God. They do not understand that this is God’s will, so their prayers are actually resisting God. The prayers of religious people are resisting God. Therefore, tell me, what things are religious people doing to resist God? All too many things, isn’t that right? Everything they do is resisting God. Even their prayers and thoughts are resisting God; they fly in the face of God. They are incompatible with God’s work in the last days. You understand this now, right?
Next, God says, “for the time is near and the day of God has come.” What does “has come” mean? It means that God descends upon earth to rule as king. He will purify and save humanity and personally live together with them. That’s the day it’s referring to. God’s day has arrived. The time of God has come. This makes us recall among all the prophecies in the Bible, which type of prophecies are most frequent? How many prophecies are there? Do you know this or not? Most religious biblical interpreters have said that the most frequent prophecy is the second coming of the Lord, and the second most frequent prophecy concerns God’s judgment in the last days. Most prophecies in the Bible talk about two things: One is the Lord’s second coming to humanity, the other is the judgment that God will personally enact in the last days to end the age. These are the two most frequent prophecies. How will these two prophecies come to pass? When God becomes flesh to do His work of judgment, these two prophecies are fulfilled. You understand now, right? What do religious people say about God’s judgment in the last days? God will establish a great white throne in heaven to judge people, then bring disasters down on earth. Is this interpretation not human imagination and conception? In reality, God incarnate comes down to earth and does His work of judgment. After the work is finished, the disasters will come down to destroy the world. How can we describe the great disaster in human terms? “The last day of the world.” The last day of the world is arriving. In the Bible, God never says “the last day of the world,” but non-believers summarize it pretty well when they say this will be the last day of the world. “The last day of the world,” what exactly does that mean? It means the world will end. The world will be over. “The world will end. It will be the last day of the world.” Is the “end” the last day that the world will exist? It means this age will end, this world will end. That’s what it means. Now do you know what the end of the world is? Then tell me, does “the end of the world” only last one day? Does it strictly refer to the last 24 hours of the world? No. It encompasses the entire duration of the great disaster. How long will the great disaster last? The disaster will go on for the last seven years, seven years! The greatest disaster will occur over the last three and a half years, which has never occurred from the time of creation. This is the disaster that will completely destroy humanity. Do you understand? This is what will happen in God’s days. God incarnate descends to earth to give His judgment, then He brings all disaster and destruction with Him to the world, the evil humans. In the end God will reign on earth. The Millennial Kingdom will come. This is to say that God’s day has come. “The day of God has come.” From when God officially descends to do His work all the way until the world is destroyed and the Millennial Kingdom is established, this is what we mean when we say God’s day has arrived.
137-A-4
Let us look at the following words of God, “God brings all who have entered His kingdom, that is, all those who have been loyal to Him to the end, into the age of God Himself.” These words are referring to those that shall remain after the day of God has come, after the final catastrophe has arrived, that is, after the end of days has arrived. “God brings all who have entered His kingdom, that is, all those who have been loyal to Him to the end, into the age of God Himself.” These men are loyal to God until the end, from the time they started to believe in God until the very end, not leaving God; regardless of where Christ is going, they follow Him and remain faithful, and these are the people that will be brought into the age of God. What is the age of God Himself? It is the age where God will hold dominion. This age where God will hold dominion will also be the age of God Himself. And what is this age where God will hold dominion? It is the Age of Kingdom, the age where God will hold dominion on earth. After God’s work has concluded, the catastrophe shall arrive; and after the catastrophe arrives, the world shall be destroyed. At that time, the so-called “end of the world” shall be fulfilled. Now many unbelievers have a premonition, saying, “The end of the world is upon us, the end of the world truly exists. Of this, I am no longer doubtful. While I used to say the end of the world was far-fetched, how come I now feel that it is imminent?” The smog in China is spreading to more and more places. It used to cover Beijing and its surrounding areas, but now it has spread to all over China, to all the major cities, even to the South. According to the scientists, people can become afflicted with lung cancer from breathing in this smog for five years; it was also said that the incubation period is eight years, and lung cancer will manifest after eight years. At the moment, lung cancer is the most common illness in China. More and more people are dying because of it, with a few thousands dying from it every day. Would you not say that this is a catastrophe? The catastrophe has arrived, and no one can escape from it. Nowadays, everyone is eating GMO foods, ingesting poison every day. No amount of detoxification can get rid of all this poison. All the blood vessels in our brain and the heart are becoming clogged, and now, it is possible for people of all ages to be afflicted with cancer. Look, with death at their doorstep, people are still fighting amongst themselves, struggling for power. Mankind is too evil, they are too wicked. God says: “God brings all who have entered His kingdom, that is, all those who have been loyal to Him to the end, into the age of God Himself.” How does one interpret these words? That is, amongst God’s chosen people, all those who seek the truth, all those who are loyal to God until the end, these are the people that shall remain. They shall survive, and they shall be blessed. If you survive, then you shall be blessed, and this shall come true during the catastrophe; surviving and remaining, these people shall enter God’s Age of Kingdom. The age of God Himself shall be the age that God will hold dominion, do you understand now?
Let us continue to read God’s words, “However, before the coming of the age of God Himself, the work that God desires to do is not to observe the deeds of man or to inquire about the lives of man, but to judge his rebellion, for God shall purify all those who come before His throne.” With this, the work of judgment in the last days has begun. Then why does God say here that “However, before the coming of the age of God Himself, the work that God desires to do is not to observe the deeds of man or to inquire about the lives of man”? This is to fight against the conceptions of those in the religions. What is the understanding of those in the religions? They say that before God has arrived, God observes the behavior of men every day, He looks at the performance of men every day, and the Lord shall bring those who have performed well into the kingdom of heaven, and bring them to the air to meet with the Lord. Is this not the way that those in the religions think? Exactly because this is how those in the religions think, here God says, “However, before the coming of the age of God Himself, the work that God desires to do is not to observe the deeds of man.” This has perfectly refuted man’s conceptions and imagination in one sentence. It is not “to inquire about the lives of man,” whatever the conditions of your life, whatever difficulties you have, whatever unspeakable sufferings you are going through, the circumstance that you are living under, what kind of a life you should be living out, what are the appropriate things that you should do, these are all man’s conceptions and imagination; God does not care about such things, God does not work in such a manner. What is the work of God? “But to judge his rebellion.” Man’s rebellion does not refer to the goodness or badness of his actions, or the rebellions or opinions engendered from the difficulties of the circumstance of man. What God aims to resolve is man’s rebellion against God, man’s satanic nature; this is the problem that God aims to resolve. In the Age of Grace, after God has performed the work of redemption, God could forgive man’s sins, God could overlook man’s sins, but the depth of man’s corruption by Satan has ingrained man with a satanic nature, and man has become rebellious against God. If this problem is not resolved, is man qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven? Not qualified. But why? Let me give an example: If God brought everyone from the churches of the religious world into the kingdom of heaven, and placed them inside the Millennial Kingdom, would all these people submit to God? You see, Christ of the last days has arrived to express all the truth, yet they condemn Him. In each and every church, the voice condemning Christ of the last days, Almighty God, is louder above all else. In each and every church, everything that they do is resisting and condemning Almighty God. Once the pastors of the religions hear the name “Almighty God,” their brains go numb, their nerves tense up, and their eyes turn red with anger. Tell me, if these people should be placed inside the kingdom of Christ’s dominion, are they not the enemies of Christ? They shall antagonize Christ until the very end. Are these not facts that I speak of? Therefore, God says: “However, before the coming of the age of God Himself, the work that God desires to do is not to observe the deeds of man or to inquire about the lives of man, but to judge his rebellion, for God shall purify all those who come before His throne.” This is the work to be performed by God. In order to bring those amongst these most corrupt humans, who truly believe in God and can sincerely love God, into the kingdom of heaven, what problem must first be resolved? “Judge their rebellion,” this is the most important. The result to be achieved by “judging their rebellion” is the words that follow, “for God shall purify all those who come before His throne.” God must first purify all these people, that is, first take care of the rebellion and resistance that these people have against God. What result is to be achieved by taking care of these things? They will attain obedience to God and be able to truly worship God, and in such a way, God can then bring these people into His kingdom. If this result cannot be achieved, these people shall not be qualified to enter His kingdom. You see, in this world of Satan, regardless of the person in power, there are so many people beneath them opposing them and convicting them. This is very common. Every president of every country, when they are undergoing elections, only some of the people support them, and it is considered very good if they can garner the support of about fifty percent of the people. Some of them started with the support of sixty percent of the people, and when it is time for them to step down, they only have thirty or twenty percent of people supporting them, with the majority of people opposing them. Is the kingdom of God the same way? If under God’s dominion, seventy, eighty percent of the people are in support, while twenty to thirty percent of them are opposing, just like those of the world, can this work? Everyone says that it would not work. Why would it not work? If anyone is able to see through this matter clearly, then this person actually has some knowledge of God. Who is able to see through this matter? Not one person? Then let me provide you with the answer. God does not allow anyone who resists Him to enter His kingdom, and this is sufficient to prove that God’s disposition cannot be offended, God’s righteousness and holiness cannot be defiled. Is this not the case? In the kingdom of Satan, if there should exist any opposing forces, there is nothing that it can do; it would like to eliminate those in opposition to it, but it does not have the power. The great red dragon has been in power for over sixty years, and in the end, has it truly made all the people of China submit to it? Not only has it not achieved such a thing, but the voices in opposition to it have grown, those who have seen through its essence have become more numerous. Why are the devils never able to gain the loyalty and love of the people? It’s because they are too evil. Everything they do is too dark, despicable, and shameful; it cannot stand the light of day. However, all that they have done in the shadows slowly become exposed to the light, exposed in the clear light of day, and now the people have come to know their truths. The kingdom of God is under God’s dominion, it is the kingdom where the glory of God is manifested. For every one of God’s chosen people, because of the truth expressed by God they have developed love for God and come to have a heart that fears God. And because of the revelation of the righteous disposition of God, they have come to revere God, become loyal and obedient to God, and can sincerely worship God. God is the truth, the way, and the life; God is able to judge man, purify man, eliminate all corruption of man, perfect man to be loyal to God, to submit to and worship God.
137-A-5
Let’s continue reading God’s word, “All those who have followed the footsteps of God to this day are those who have come before the throne of God, hence all who accept the last of God’s work are those to be purified by God. In other words, all those who accept the last of God’s work are those who will be judged by God.” Which of you would say that you are not a target of God’s judgment? Is there any one of you who can say, “God’s words of disclosure and God’s words of judgment, do not apply to me, I have not committed these sins and I do not have these corrupt elements”? Is there anyone who can say this? Nobody can. God said, “all those who accept the last of God’s work are those who will be judged by God.” I can see this most clearly. I am the first to feel that I am the target of God’s judgment. God’s words of judgment are completely applicable to me. They are absolutely accurate. It is as if He is speaking directly about me. Of course His words are directed at all of His creations. I have accepted it in this way. Perhaps the majority of people that seek the truth also understand this point. God’s words of judgment apply to the entire human race. Every one of us has these kinds of exposed corruption. In the end, it is all distilled into one conclusion. What is this conclusion? “The corrupt human race has the same essence. That is why the corrupt human race in its entirety is the target of God’s judgment and cleansing.” Is this sentence correct? The majority of people say it is correct. Now, some people will also say, “The corrupt human race has the same essence. That being the case, should we still differentiate between good people, bad people, virtuous people and evil people? That means that God should save and perfect everyone and that no one should be abandoned.” Are these words tenable? They are not tenable. Why? The prophecies in the Bible say that there is wheat and there are tares. There are true believers in God and there are non-believers. Additionally, the Bible’s prophecies mention that there are false shepherds, false apostles, and false prophets. There are those that are cowardly, those that are promiscuous, those that worship idols, and those that practice sorcery. Aren’t these people the targets of God’s elimination? Even though our corrupt essence is the same, there are some people that are targets of God’s salvation and perfection and there are others who are targets of His condemnation and punishment. They are God’s targets for elimination. Is there this distinction? Most people say that there is. Therefore, even though the corrupt human race shares the same essence, there are distinctions. What are the distinctions? Some people are kind-hearted and some are sinister. Some people are relatively honest and some are crooked and treacherous. Some people genuinely make an effort for God and some persistently go through the motions and deceive God. Some people are good servants and some are evil servants, antichrists, and false leaders. Therefore, amongst the corrupt human race, even though man shares the almost same corrupt nature and our satanic disposition is more or less the same, there are many distinctions. Some people are able to love the truth and accept the truth while others do not love the truth and do not accept the truth. Some people are able to accept God’s judgment and chastisement and others reject God’s judgment and chastisement. Some people can obey His judgment and chastisement and others condemn and resist Christ. Some people can accept dealing and pruning while others oppose and disagree with it. Can you see that these distinctions exist? People all have been corrupted deeply by Satan. Then, there are those who love the truth and can obey God’s judgment and chastisement. They will achieve the result of being cleansed and perfected. Those that have no love of the truth, resist God, and refuse to accept God’s judgment and chastisement will be revealed and eliminated by God.
Some people are elected to be workers or leaders. They are able to seek the truth and persistently pray to God. They can cast aside their corruption and rebel against the flesh. They are able to accept the truth and put the truth into practice. These kinds of people, in the beginning, were unable to do much work or communicate much of the reality of the truth. After a period of time of experience, they are able to communicate the reality of the truth and can use the truth to solve problems. From the beginning when they did not have much experience, they grew to the point where they absolutely have solid experience. They obtained the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment and illumination and they achieved an understanding of the truth whereby they could bear witness for God. In the end, they will become perfected by God into someone that God can use and they can become a priest in the kingdom. People are very different from one another! Even though their corrupt essence is more or less the same, the difference is not insignificant, right? You can see that there are some people right now that seek the truth and in 5 or 6 years, they are able to talk a little bit about the reality of the truth. There are people who have believed for 10 or 20 years yet they are unable to talk about the reality of the truth. How can this be explained? Is this a distinction? Some people believe for 2 or 3 years and they have prepared a decent amount of good deeds. They help other brothers and sisters and they have donated clothes and supplies for the church to use. Other people have donated a significant amount of financial resources. They haven’t believed for many years and they do not know much about the truth, yet they have so many good deeds. How can this be explained? Some people do not donate a single penny. Instead, they steal and eat God’s sacrifices. They steal and enjoy God’s sacrifices. They use God’s offerings to buy themselves this or buy themselves that. When they see that their brothers and sisters have something that is good, they speak in a roundabout way and ask for it. If they see that what a brother or sister is wearing looks good, they continuously say, “Wow, what you wear looks so good? I think that what you are wearing is very nice. It’s a shame that what I’m wearing isn’t very fashionable.” What does this mean? When the brothers and sisters see this, they feel embarrassed, “Well, let’s see how you would look if you wore this. Does it fit well?” Once this person puts it on they say, “Wow, this is great. It’s like this was made specifically for me.” “Well, why don’t you wear it then.” This person is happy now that they achieved their goal. What kind of person is this? Someone who only knows how to demand things from God and never donates anything. Isn’t this someone who is a selfish and despicable person? They are all corrupt mankind. Why is it that there are so many people who are able to donate and are willing to make offerings? Why are there some people who are selfish and despicable? They do not donate anything, yet they demand God to provide them with sacrifices and they lust for the benefits of position. This is a significant difference! Right now, when I see that there are some people who have only believed for 3 to 5 years and some of them make such a donation, some of them can communicate a bit of the reality of the truth, and they can talk about such a clear and deep understanding of themselves, I am jealous! I said I was not able to achieve such a result after only believing for 3 to 5 years. How have you been able to achieve this? If you believe for 10 or 20 years, you will be so much better than me. Are there these kinds of people? I see that there are, it’s not a small number and in the future, they will be better than me. Don’t pay attention to how right now, your preaching is not at this level yet. Do not rush, as the Holy Spirit will do His work and God will perfect you. Right now, the young people’s education level and caliber are higher than mine. Their humanity is also better than mine and so, later on, they will be better than me. Now you can understand. Those that will be brought into God’s kingdom are those that are devoted to God to the very end. These people are the crystallization that God will attain from His judgment in the last days. They are the crystallization of God’s 6,000-year management plan. God’s work in the last days is to determine the final destination for the entire human race. The purpose is to determine each person’s final destination. That is why, in terms of God’s work of judgment in the last days, those who obtain cleansing and perfection are the people who have the greatest blessing out of the entire human race. Isn’t this the case? There were many people during the Age of Grace whose work was very exceptional and they had the Holy Spirit’s work. However, when it comes to God’s work of the last days, they receive it very slowly. They still have their own conceptions and they cannot obey God’s judgment. What happens to them in the end? They fall behind. That is why the Lord Jesus said, “But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first” (Matthew 19:30). This verse has come true, it has been fulfilled in this way. You can see how some children in their teens are earnestly listening to the sermons. Each time there is a gathering, they are willing to participate, they do not want to be left out. They are so young, yet they thirst for the truth. They have been preselected by God, isn’t this the case?
Let’s continue communicating God’s word. “As previously spoken of, judgment would begin with the house of God. This ‘judgment’ refers to the judgment God does today on those who come before His throne in the last days.” Right now, the judgment work that began from God’s family has basically come to an end, this is a fact that we all can see. “Perhaps there are those who believe in such supernatural imaginings as that when the last days have arrived, God will erect a big table in the heavens.” Isn’t this the notion of religious people? Is this kind of thinking by religious people tenable? It is not tenable. The way God does His work is not like how people imagine it to be. God’s work is extremely practical! Look, today, why is it that religious people cannot accept it? God has expressed these words, that is, the words in “The Word Appears in the Flesh.” These words are so good, and so much truth has been expressed; why can they not accept them? It can only be explained by an old saying: These people are blind and do not understand God! God’s voice is so clear and His words are so authoritative and powerful, yet they do not hear it. Truly, these people are irredeemable! You can take a look and see whether or not these are God’s words. If you cannot even recognize this, then you are a blind and muddle-headed person. You only see God’s physical body, “He is just a normal person!” What do you mean just a normal person? Who else but Christ can express such a voice? Can normal people say these things? Even if all the world’s theology academics cooperated together, they would still be unable to say these things, am I right? God’s words can only be expressed by God incarnate. If God does not become flesh, who else can express these words? Can prophets or apostles express them? Who is worthy to express this? Nobody is worthy; only Christ, who is God incarnate, is qualified to express God’s words. The religious world cannot see through this. These people are truly unable to understand the spirit! However, in terms of the root cause, this is not the case. These people hate the truth. This has already been decided by their nature, right?
Let’s continue communicating God’s words. “No matter what the imaginings of man, the substance of God’s work cannot be altered. The imaginings of man are nothing but the constructs of man’s thoughts and come from the brain of man, summed up and pieced together from what man has seen and heard. Therefore I say, however brilliant the images conceived, they are still no more than a drawing and no substitute for the plan of God’s work. After all, all of man has been corrupted by Satan, so how can he then fathom the thoughts of God?” Right now, man is unable to figure out the truth and does not seek the truth. This can be very serious and this can bring about death, right? Below, God said these words and it is very important, “at the time that you believe God’s work of judgment has officially begun, it shall already be the time when God changes heaven and earth.” What is the meaning of this word? We must discuss this a bit. “At the time that you believe God’s work of judgment has officially begun….” What is this word referring to? The religious world believes that the work of judgment will begin when the great disaster arrives. The work of judgment refers to God bringing down disasters. That is why religious people will think it has started after the great disaster arrives, “God’s judgment work has officially begun.” In fact, what the situation actually is like, they do not know. The time that religious people believe that God’s judgment work officially begins is actually precisely the time that God changes heaven and earth. How can this be explained? You have to base this on the facts that come about after God brings down the great disaster. Once the great disaster arrives, from man’s perspective, the work of judgment has officially begun. From God’s perspective, heaven and earth are being changed. When heaven and earth are changed, this concludes the old age and marks the start of a new age. This is what changing heaven and earth means. Once the great disaster arrives, the old world will be destroyed. After it has been destroyed, what will take its place? The new age, the Age of the Millennial Kingdom. Once I explain this, isn’t it a lot easier to understand the word that God spoke, “it shall already be the time when God changes heaven and earth”? “At that time, perhaps you will have only just understood the meaning of life, but the merciless work of punishment of God shall bring you, still slumbering, into hell.” When God changes heaven and earth, such people are still slumbering! What does “slumbering” mean? Slumbering means their heart is dark, they still embrace fantasies, and they live in a fantasy or in a dream. Isn’t this correct? They do not see that God has done some significant work among men and has done something great. As the great disaster rapidly draws near, they are still in their dream of rapture. Aren’t they people who are slumbering? God said, “Only then will you suddenly realize that God’s work of judgment has already concluded.” What they believe is the beginning of God’s judgment work is, in fact, the time that it is officially concluding. God has already changed heaven and earth. That is why these people that are dreaming will go directly to hell. This is similar to the 250 leaders that resisted Moses; the earth opened up and they fell into the depths of hell. We have talked about this section of God’s word very simply, there is no need to go into detail. You will understand the literal meaning of God’s words when you read them.
137-A-6
Let’s continue reading the next section of God’s words, “Let us not waste precious time and talk no more of these abhorrent and detestable topics.” What does “waste precious time” refer to? God’s work of judgment in the last days has already started. Do not chat idly about the great white throne there, or what is judgment all about, or how it will come about. Do not talk about these things, it’s no use! The judgment has already begun. Right now, time is precious. There is not a lot of time left. You should try your best to experience God’s judgment and chastisement of the last days without delay! Do not talk about these human conceptions and imaginings etc. These are useless topics. Do not argue about things like, “Is this actually God’s judgment? Is this God’s work? Is this God’s appearance?” Do not chat about these useless matters. Chatting about this wastes time. God said, “Let us speak instead of what constitutes judgment.” This is important. Presently, the religious world argues about these topics. In God’s eyes, what kind of topics are these? These are abhorrent and detestable topics. “When it comes to the word ‘judgment,’ you will think of the words that Jehovah spoke to all the places and the words of rebuke that Jesus spoke to the Pharisees. Though these words are stern, they are not God’s judgment of man; these words are only those spoken by God within different environments, that is, different settings, and they are unlike the words spoken by Christ as He judges man in the last days.” Now, someone said, “Well, those words are very stern. They don’t seem like they are any less stern than the words spoken by Christ in the last days.” Those words are very stern. Why are they not God’s judgment of man? Pay attention now, the words that God says below will definitely be a response to this question. God does not leave things half-said to make man confused. When God speaks, He is responsible. Some people do not understand. If you are someone that seeks the truth, you should pay close attention. After you finish listening, you will understand. You do not need my explanation. Man’s explanation is not as accurate as God’s words. “In the last days, Christ uses a variety of truths to teach man, reveal the essence of man, and dissect his words and deeds. These words comprise various truths, such as man’s duty, how man should obey God, how man should be loyal to God, how man ought to live out the normal humanity, as well as the wisdom and disposition of God, and so on.” These are all various parts of the truth. If God does not express all these various truths, if He does not reprimand or reproach man from all these angles of various truths, could this be considered judging man? If you examine the words of rebuke that God spoke to man during the Age of Law and the Age of Grace according to this viewpoint and based on this principle, you will understand, right? It is obvious at a glance whether or not those words are in fact God’s judgment of man. Is this a good comparison? Everyone says that it is good. That is why with every sentence that God speaks, He does not just say some general and empty words and then the matter is considered to be settled. Underneath, there is concrete content and He says it very clearly. After God is done speaking, He takes responsibility and makes sure you genuinely understand. God does not leave things half-said. The things that God says are both clear and understandable. After you have finished hearing God’s words, you say, “I understand,” and it is settled. If some people finish listening to God’s words and their heart is foggy and dark and they are not able to feel out God’s intentions or the source of God’s words, then these people do not understand God’s words. What are the reasons that they do not understand? First, their caliber is average. Second, they do not have experience. Third, they do not pray to God. Let’s say you do not have experience. If you pray to God and you obtain the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment, then you will be able to understand, right?
Let’s continue reading God’s words. “These words are all focused on the essence of man and his corrupt disposition. In particular, those words that reveal how man spurns God are spoken in regard to how man is an embodiment of Satan and an enemy force against God.” What does this touch upon? These words explain exactly what judgment is. What is judgment? “These words are all focused on the essence of man and his corrupt disposition. In particular, those words that reveal how man spurns God are spoken in regard to how man is an embodiment of Satan and an enemy force against God.” These kinds of words are truly God’s judgment of man! Make sure you understand this! Now, which aspects of man’s condition does God’s judgment focus on? First, they “are all focused on the essence of man.” Second, they are focused on man’s “corrupt disposition.” Third, they “are spoken in regard to how man is an embodiment of Satan and an enemy force against God.” The words that are expressed based on these few conditions of man, the stern words of reproach, revealing and judgment, these are God’s judgment of man. These kinds of words of judgment, how do people feel when they hear them? How do their hearts react to them? Do their hearts feel hurt? Their hearts feel hurt, bitter, pained, and helpless. They want to run away but they cannot. Those words are like a double-edged sword. They pierce into man’s heart and bone marrow and make man feel hurt, bitter, and distressed. When people first started accepting God’s words of judgment, there were some who wept upon seeing God’s words of judgment. It was difficult for them to bear. They said, “That’s it. I belong to Satan’s force! How could I gain blessings? How could I enter the heavenly kingdom? It seems absolutely impossible! As it turns out, this is how God sees man, this is very frustrating.” Upon seeing these words, some people say, “God, why would You say these things? Aren’t we people who truly believe in You? Haven’t I cast away a lot for You? Haven’t I forsaken and made a significant effort for You? I never expected that I am considered a devil.” Truly, can man easily accept God’s words of judgment? We all say that it is not easy to accept. Are they in accordance with man’s notions? No, they are definitely not. They are not compatible with our notions and imaginations. That is why in the trial of service-doers, when the earliest believers finished reading these words, many of them started to cry. Some wept when they prayed alone. Afterward, as they walked along the path, they looked toward the sky and cried. They looked toward the heavens and said, “God! If I am Satan, what is the use of my believing in You? If I don’t believe, that also will not do. I cannot leave. I should believe. But You say that I am a service-doer. Isn’t this the end of it? Even if I keep on believing, there is no good destination for me. In the very end, I will still be destroyed.” They revealed a particular helplessness! However, they still did not leave. Men’s true heart was thus revealed. Their heart that believed in God was real. No matter how God judged or how severe His words were, men, with tears running down their face, did not leave. During that judgment, did the beautiful dream of the heavenly kingdom come to an end? Did it become annihilated? What about the intentions of obtaining blessings? The intentions of obtaining blessings also vanished. Once man’s desire for blessings is no more, is there anything else that man still longs for? There is nothing left to long for. In the end they said, “Let’s see off God back to Zion,” and that was the end of that. In the end, they chose to do some service and see God off back to Zion. After three months of judgment work, this result was achieved. Some people withdrew. Others did not withdraw. Some people started to dwell in sin and ease into a life of debauchery. At this time, God once again started to speak and changed the title of service-doers into God’s people. Look, each step of God’s work has its own purpose. The purpose is to cleanse and refine man! We now understand the words that God uses to judge man! Is it clear just what is God’s judgment and how He performs the work of judgment? God’s words take man’s nature, essence, satanic disposition, motivation for believing in God, actual state of resisting God and root of resistance to God and vividly and clearly expose all of them. This causes man to be thoroughly convinced. In the face of facts, men’s grandeur and arrogance were brought down and they cried continuously. This is the result that is achieved through judgment. In the face of God’s words, men fell prostrate on the ground. They no longer had any words and they cried unceasingly. At this time, there was a song called “The Praise of the Descendants of Moab.” This song was written in regard to this circumstance.
I will continue reading God’s words, “When God does the work of judgment, He does not simply make clear the nature of man with just a few words, but carries out revelation, dealing, and pruning over the long term. Such manner of revelation, dealing, and pruning cannot be substituted with ordinary words but with the truth that man does not possess at all. Only such manner of work is deemed judgment; only through such judgment can man be persuaded, be thoroughly convinced into submission to God, and gain true knowledge of God.” What results does God’s work of judgment achieve? First, it causes man to be thoroughly convinced and brings all men into submission. The most important point is that you have a genuine understanding of God. This kind of work is called judgment. Was this result achieved during the Age of Law with the words that God used to reproach man or during the Age of Grace with the words that the Lord Jesus used to denounce the Pharisees? No. The judgment can cause men to submit and feel sincerely convinced. The most important thing is to cause people to have a genuine understanding of God. Right now, this result can be achieved through the work of the last days. That is why it is the work of the last days that can be considered God’s work of judgment toward man. Why is it that God’s work and God’s judgment are able to cause man to submit, feel completely convinced and also have a genuine understanding of God? What is the main point here? It is here in these words, “Such manner of revelation, dealing, and pruning cannot be substituted with ordinary words but with the truth that man does not possess at all. Only such manner of work is deemed judgment.” These words are very important. So, what is the title of this passage of God’s word? “Christ Does the Work of Judgment With the Truth.” He uses the truth to do the work of judgment. This is what God’s judgment is. This is what allows man to understand God.
137-A-7
Someone might ask this question: “When we were believing in the Lord during the Age of Grace, weren’t we also able to spend for the Lord, suffer for the Lord, and keep the name of the Lord? And weren’t such people those who submit to God and worship God? Why does God still have to perform the work of judgment?” Some people are certainly thinking like this, is that not the case? So now you tell me, when someone sincerely spends and suffers for God, is willing to pay the price, and holds fast to the Lord’s name, does this mean that they truly obey and worship God? Some say no. Why not? Because man has a satanic nature, man’s heart is filled with satanic disposition, and at any moment, he can resist God, judge God, and betray God. Is that not the truth? That is the truth. During the Age of Grace, those who were loyal to the Lord, even those who martyred for the Lord, were they truly obedient to God? Some say that they were not. Why were they not? Because they did not accept the truth, they also did not practice the truth. Why do we say that they did not accept the truth and did not practice the truth? Let me give the most practical example: God has expressed all the truth for judging mankind during the last days, yet the religious community does not accept, they are not convinced, they are opposing, resisting, judging, even blaspheming. Are these not facts regarding the religious community’s resistance of God? Are these not facts that most people from the religious community are weary of the truth, and hate the truth? Therefore, we say that even when those from the religious community are spending for the Lord, suffering for the Lord, they do not truly obey God. Then, why do they spend for the Lord, and suffer for the Lord? Is it because they have a heart that obeys God? They want to be blessed, to be rewarded, to enter the kingdom of heaven, therefore they have no choice but to spend for the Lord, suffer a little, and pay a small price; they are carrying out a transaction with the Lord. In order to be blessed, man is dealing with the Lord, because he feels that this is worthwhile, that this is a good bargain, “Just suffer a little, pay a little price, hold fast to the Lord’s name, and then enter into the kingdom of heaven. This is a great bargain.” Therefore, to achieve this objective for himself to be blessed, he is willing to suffer a little, pay a little price. This is the nature of man, and anyone that belongs to Satan can do such things; he will do such things unless he does not believe that this blessing is real. All those who believe that the Lord can bestow blessings on men can suffer thus and pay the price, they are all willing to undertake such a transaction. For all men under such an evil and dark society, in order to be blessed and to survive, they all are able to make deals; not one of them is unable to make some kind of deals, is this not fact? Therefore, we say that those from the religious community are not sincere in their spending for the Lord, they all do so because they want to be blessed, they all do so because they are making a deal.
If the Lord Jesus were still performing work on earth, living with those from the religious community, would they still spend for the Lord thus, and suffer thus? Can they? Some say that they cannot. This is troublesome. Now that they can reject the truth expressed by Christ of the last days, if the Lord Jesus should continue to speak and perform work among them, expressing the truth of the last days, what would be their attitudes toward the Lord Jesus? If the Lord Jesus were among them, expressing such truths as regarding the existence of human society because of the reincarnation of souls, would they accept such facts? If the Lord Jesus lived among them, and said “All of you shall be eliminated because of your resistance of God, all of you shall be cursed and cast down to hell,” what would they do? Would they submit? They would not submit, they would certainly rise up in rebellion, and then they would spurn the Lord and flee; for sure, many of them would join the chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees of Judaism in spurning the Lord Jesus, and would then follow these chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees. Is this not the outcome? Therefore, all those from the religious community who believe in the Lord Jesus, why do they believe in Him? They believe because they have not seen the Lord Jesus. If they should have actually seen Him, certainly they would not have continued to believe until today. Could we not put it this way? Especially if the Lord Jesus expressed words regarding judgment of the last days, they would all revolt, they would all argue with the Lord Jesus, they would say: “Jesus, what You have said do not count, we shall argue with You and go to court with You. Why do You not bring us into the kingdom of heaven? You have made a covenant with us, that you would forgive our sins, and we shall spend for You, believe in You until the end, that whoever believes in the Son shall have eternal life. Why do You not bestow onto us eternal life?” Tell me, would those from the religions do such things? During the stage of the Age of Grace, no one has seen the Lord Jesus over the two thousand years. Because the Lord Jesus had ascended into heaven, subsequently the Holy Spirit performed work to lead men; through the work performed by the Holy Spirit, and through men praying to the Lord, God treated men with grace, showed mercy to them, forgave their sins, and bestowed much grace onto them, thereby men believed in God. If the Holy Spirit had not performed work to bestow such grace onto men, men would have betrayed the Lord Jesus long ago, and who would still recognize the Lord Jesus as the truth, the way, and the life? Men only recognize the Lord Jesus with the thought that “You must give me blessings, and because You are the King of the kingdom of heaven, You must bring me into the kingdom of heaven, then I would recognize You.” No one believes in the Lord Jesus because He is the truth, the way, and the life. Therefore, from the point of view of God, they are unable to submit to all the words of the Lord, they are unable to accept the judgment of the Lord, and they shall be eliminated and abandoned by the Lord. Their belief has become the belief in a vague God. The Lord Jesus has resurrected and ascended into heaven, He has become the vague God, you can no longer see Him, that is why you believe in Him; if you can actually see Him, no one can guarantee that you will still follow Him today, no one can guarantee that you will truly accept Him, is this not the case? Tell me, is it easier to believe in the vague God up in the heaven, or is it easier to believe in the Son of man that can be seen—Christ? All say that it’s easier to believe in the vague God. It is so easy to believe in the vague God, because everyone recognizes the vague God, even the unbelievers recognize Him. What do the unbelievers say? “There is of course an Old Man in the Sky, but I don’t know about God.” What do the Westerners say? “God truly exists, but I don’t know if Jesus is the true God.” Not many people sincerely believe in the incarnate God—Christ. Those of you who have only begun to accept God’s work of the last days, if you see the flesh of Christ, would you believe in Him? Regarding this, I cannot see clearly. I wonder, if men should see the flesh of Christ, and live with Him for a period of time, how many would remain, and how many would continue to believe? As I say this, do you find this question inappropriate? To be honest, I’m not suspecting anyone among you of being insincere in your belief, this is not what I meant. Let us talk simply about this truth: Is man’s faith limited? Man’s faith is rather pitiful, is that true?
For some people, the more they listen to sermons and fellowship, the more they feel that this is the true way; the more they listen to God’s fellowship, the more they come to know God’s disposition, the more they are certain that God is the truth, and then their faith becomes stronger, and they become more determined. However, some people are unable to do this, for all that they see is Christ’s appearance, “If Your appearance is not what I worship and not what I agree with, then I won’t believe in You.” Such people who only see with their eyes, are they not in danger? It is inevitable that they would have conceptions, rebellions, and conflicts against God. Now, everything involves reality, and if you do not truly understand the truth, if you do not truly know God’s disposition, you will not be able to stand. Others ask: “Why do you believe in this ordinary Son of man—Christ? Why do you believe in Him?” You may say: “Because those words that He has expressed are the truth, I see that He is the incarnate God, and if I believe in Him, then I shall certainly receive great blessings.” With this purpose in believing in God, you will get into trouble. You only acknowledge that He is God incarnate, but you do not recognize that He has the essence of God’s divinity, you do not recognize that He is the practical God who saves mankind, that He is the Savior, that He is the appearance of the Savior. If you are unable to see clearly through this matter, then your faith is invalid. If you can see through this matter, you will say, “This person really has the essence of the divinity of God, He is the embodiment of truth.” Then one day, when you see the face of God, you will be able to say: “Oh, there is nothing special about Him! Such an ordinary appearance, nothing special, but so practical. He truly has divinity, He is indeed the truth. Because of this, I shall believe, and I shall resolve to follow until the end.” Is such faith real? If a man should really be able to see Christ, he would say, “Oh, such a great God that is most exalted, the almighty God, how can He be wearing such an ordinary flesh? God is too humble and hidden. When the great devils are reincarnated, they always wear an imposing appearance that has the worship of everyone; how come God incarnate wears the appearance of a common man? What does it say?” For some, the more they ponder this matter, the more they feel that the humble and hidden God is so lovable. God’s humility and hiddenness stand in sharp contrast to the arrogance and conceit of the corrupt humans. Look at the corrupt humans, the more imposing, the more refined, the more beautiful they dress themselves up, the more they are satisfied. No one who is tall and beautiful does not like to dress up. They feel that, the more beautiful they are, the better; and the more they are worshiped, the better. As for God, He thinks, “I shall not allow you to worship My appearance. I shall have you see that My appearance is ordinary, I shall embarrass you, I shall let you come to know God’s disposition.” Is there significance in what God does? There is such significance in what God does. Then tell me, regardless of the flesh that God incarnate wears, whether He has an imposing appearance or an ordinary appearance, what is the primary significance? What is the result that it aims to achieve? Is it His flesh that He wants you to worship? No. To believe in God incarnate is not to believe in His flesh; we believe in this person primarily because He has divinity and has the Spirit of God hidden within. The Spirit of God wearing such a flesh has the most significance, its significance is the deepest and most far-reaching. Is this something that can be fathomed by men? Is this not an attack against man’s satanic conceptions? This is a direct judgment of man. You look at God wearing an ordinary flesh and you have conceptions; just this point of view of yours is proof that you worship Satan, that you worship the appearance of men, that you are too vain, that you have no reality. You do not look at essence, you only emphasize on appearance. Is this not vanity?
Now, many people have understood some truths, and have come to know the disposition of God, saying, “In wearing flesh, God is enduring great humiliation. How could God become man?” Tell me, is it not a great humiliation for God to wear any kind of flesh? For the Spirit of God, for God Himself, this is humiliation. Among the created, man is insignificant, that which a man knows is limited, a man’s IQ is limited. Man is too insignificant, therefore, for the supreme, almighty and omniscient God to wear any flesh, even if it is a flesh worshiped by men, regardless of how good-looking this flesh is, it is still a great humiliation, not to mention wearing an ordinary flesh. Just like a nobleman wearing the most ordinary clothes, this is a great humiliation. The pain that God must suffer wearing such an ordinary flesh, does man know any of it? Does God not suffer? After God has suffered, men eat and drink His words, believe in Him, but look down on His flesh, does He not suffer even more? Do men still have any conscience? They have no conscience! They still judge Him by His appearance, they have no reality of the truth, and have no understanding of God. Men have no conscience, no loyalty, and they even worship Satan. The more ordinary and common the flesh that God wears, and the more men think Him unremarkable, the more it shames Satan, is that not the case? Does this not shame Satan? This itself is proof that has witnessed the victory of God. Furthermore, doesn’t the ordinary flesh that God wears reveal all men’s corrupt disposition? It reveals their corruption, their arrogance and conceit: They look down on others, they look down on Christ; to put it severely, this is an act of blaspheming God.
The words expressed by God reveal and judge the corrupt mankind, God’s ordinary flesh revealing men’s corrupt disposition even more. Can you see through this matter now? The religious community is condemning Christ and resisting Christ, and what is at issue? Does this not reveal all those who believe in the Lord? Do they sincerely love God? Are they truly obedient to God? Do they recognize that God is the truth? They do not recognize that God is the truth, they hate the truth, they condemn Christ, and this has revealed, in all those from the religious community, their satanic nature and their essence that resists God. Therefore, God eliminates them, punishes them, and disowns them, for the kingdom does not want such men. You dare to condemn Christ. How brazen of you. You have taken on the nature of Satan. Can those who condemn Christ remain in the kingdom? Do they qualify to enter the kingdom? They do not qualify. Therefore, they are revealed and eliminated from within the church, for they are not qualified to enter the kingdom. Among those who accept the work of the last days of Almighty God, the ones that understand the truth and are able to sincerely love God; the ones that have seen the humility and hiddenness of God, and are able to love God more sincerely; the ones that shed tears when seeing God suffer, their heart aching; the ones that are able to accept the truth and practice the truth after reading God’s words, to fulfill God’s expectations, to comfort God’s heart; the ones that are able to accept and submit to that which was entrusted by God, to be loyal to God until the end, these are the ones that God likes, who shall be blessed by God, who shall be qualified to enter God’s kingdom. Can you see through this matter now?
137-A-8
Let us continue to read God’s words. “What the work of judgment brings about is man’s understanding of the true face of God and the truth about his rebelliousness. This work is the work of judgment done by God.” Is it not true that these God’s words have now thoroughly stated what judgment is? What results does the work of judgment bring about? First, “what the work of judgment brings about is man’s understanding of the true face of God,” that is, you acquire the understanding and knowledge of God; second, “the truth about his rebelliousness,” which is the understanding of the truth regarding man’s rebelliousness and resistance against God; third, “the work of judgment allows man to gain much understanding of the will of God, of the purpose of God’s work, and of the mysteries that could not be understood by man”; and fourth, “it also allows man to recognize and know his corrupt substance and the roots of his corruption, as well as to discover the ugliness of man.” We must be clear regarding these results. Have these results been achieved on you? When experiencing God’s work of judgment, you must always reflect on yourself in these respects, and look at how many of these results have been fulfilled and accomplished in you. If none of these results have been accomplished in you, then you are in trouble, for it shows that you have run away from God’s judgment, that you have not submitted to God’s judgment and chastisement, and as such, you are not qualified to enter the kingdom of God. There shall be trouble for you when the disaster arrives, for you shall not survive, and you shall be annihilated by the disaster. After you have experienced judgment and chastisement, if these results have been fulfilled and achieved within you, then you are someone who truly submits to the judgment and chastisement of God. Thus, you shall have truly been purified and perfected, you shall be qualified to enter the kingdom of God, and you shall belong as one of the people of the kingdom. Now, why are you called God’s chosen people? Because you are one of the chosen. But how are the people of God determined? That is, after the work of judgment and chastisement hashastisement, and as such, you are not qualified to enter the kingdom of God. That is, after the work of judgment and chastisement has concluded, if all the results to be achieved through God’s work have been fulfilled and completed in a man, then this man shall become one of the people of God. All those who have achieved results through experiencing God’s work of judgment shall belong as one of the people of God; all those who have achieved none of the results shall be eliminated. Do you understand now? Do you know now what results have been achieved on you? Can you compare yourself with these?
Because mankind has been so deeply corrupted, they have all become the progeny of Satan, the brood of Satan, with satanic nature, filled with satanic disposition. Can you see through this matter? Mankind resists God primarily because they have satanic nature and disposition, and also because they have not one shred of understanding of God, this is the source of mankind’s resistance of God. Can you see through this? After experiencing judgment, men come to understand that God’s disposition is primarily righteousness, that His righteousness and majesty cannot be offended. Can you see through this now? Some say that they can now see through this. Furthermore, have you achieved an understanding of the three stages of God’s work, and the results that each stage of work needs to achieve, that is, an understanding of the purpose of God’s work? If a man has no understanding of the purpose of God’s work, if a man does not know what results each stage of work must attain, or has no knowledge regarding the relationship between the three stages of work, then does this man have any knowledge of God’s work? Without real understanding of God’s work, is there a path for him to experience God’s work? Does he have a direction, a target? Certainly not. “… the substance of such work is actually the work of opening up the truth, way, and life of God to all those who have faith in Him.” Can you now see this fact clearly? You must see through all these things, and not just simply understand the theories. If you are able to give an example to clearly explain the truths, and if you are able to explain a fact with many words, then you have truly understood; if you can only parrot those same words spoken by others and are unable to explain them with your own words, then you do not have true understanding. Am I correct in what I said?
God’s words said: “If you do not regard these truths with importance and constantly think of avoiding them or of a new way out apart from them, then I say you are a grievous sinner.” What amounts to a grievous sinner? Do you understand now? If someone does not accept the truth expressed by God and even hopes to look for a new way out apart from God’s work, they are a person that most resists God and is most hated by God, therefore God said that they are a grievous sinner. Aren’t those from the religious community all such people? Aren’t those pastors and elders from the religious community all such people? When they see that the Lord Jesus has yet to come back to receive them, while they refuse to accept Almighty God’s judgment work of the last days, they then arrive at the thought that, “Will God open other paths to bring us into the kingdom of heaven?” What are these men in the eyes of God? They are grievous sinners. Those pastors and elders from the religious community are such people, do you understand now?
Let us continue to read God’s words, “If you have faith in God, yet seek not the truth or the will of God, nor do you love the way that brings you closer to God, then I say that you are one who is trying to evade judgment. You are a puppet and traitor who flees from the great white throne, and God will not spare any of the rebellious that escape from under His eyes. Such men shall receive even more severe punishment.” All those who do not accept God’s judgment and chastisement, what are they in the eyes of God? They are puppets, and they are traitors. And what are all those from the religious community in the eyes of God? They are puppets and traitors who flee from the throne of God. What is the outcome for all these men? These men shall receive even more severe punishment. Even more severe punishment, to put it definitively, is to be denied entry into the kingdom; it might be beyond the point of redemption, to never have the opportunity to reincarnate as man, to never have the opportunity to see the face of God. Such are the most severe punishments. “Those who come before God to be judged and have been purified shall forever live in the kingdom of God. Of course, this is in the future.” All those who come before God to be judged and get purified, “shall forever live in the kingdom of God.” These are the words of God. What does it mean to “forever live in the kingdom of God”? Do you know? It is to have gained eternal life, to never perish, to never be annihilated. Those who have gained eternal life shall forever live in the kingdom of God. It says here “of course, this is in the future,” and what do these words refer to? They refer to the fact that, after God’s work of the last days has concluded, after the disaster has passed, this shall be fulfilled. For example, now we see that there are so many people in God’s house, they are all decent people, they are all striving, they are all earnest people; yet, after the disaster, some of these people shall be gone, there shall be news that some have perished in the disaster, that some have perished in the earthquakes, some in the famine, and some in the plague. “Oh, but some of these men believe in Almighty God, how come they have perished just like the unbelievers?” Tell me, why is this the case? This is because they have fled God’s judgment and chastisement, not seeking truth in the least bit; these men are unbelievers in the eyes of God, for they have never practiced God’s words, and they are outside of God’s words. Who are the unbelievers in the eyes of God? All those who live outside of God’s words are unbelievers. What is religion in the eyes of God? All the assemblies of those who do not have God in their hearts, not truly submitting to God’s work, not truly experiencing God’s work, are all religions. Some of the churches within the Church of Almighty God might be under the power of the unbelievers and those who do not love the truth, under the power of false leaders and antichrists. Are these churches not religions? Such churches belong to the religions. If you should live inside a church under the power of antichrists, of false leaders, or of those who do not seek the truth, then you are living inside religion. Such churches are still religions, not only the religious community is religion. There are at least tens of thousands of churches in the Church of Almighty God; there are certainly some churches out of the tens of thousands that do not have the work of the Holy Spirit or are under the power of false leaders and antichrists, and such churches are still religions in the eyes of God. Those people who live inside the churches controlled by antichrists and false leaders are living inside religions, and they shall not receive any salvation. Therefore, churches everywhere within God’s house must reveal the antichrists and false leaders at all times, they must expel all the antichrists and replace all the false leaders. This work cannot be allowed to cease, not until the arrival of the disaster. Why does God’s house have to completely expel the antichrists and replace the false leaders? To put it bluntly, it is to protect God’s chosen people, allowing God’s chosen people to normally, genuinely, and truly experience God’s judgment and chastisement, to be purified, and ultimately be brought into the kingdom. Is this not the love of God falling upon you? Is this not the grace and protection of God, for those who love the truth and sincerely believe in Him? This is God’s kindness to these people. Therefore, we must reveal the antichrists, the false leaders and the unbelievers, these three types of people cannot hold power in the church. If one of these three types of people should hold power over any church, then that church shall belong to the religion in the eyes of God, and God shall not perform work at that church. Not until God’s chosen people have revealed and handled these antichrists and false leaders could God’s heart be consoled, whereby the Holy Spirit can truly perform work in the church once again. Do you see clearly now? Some new believers who transferred from the religions have their opinions regarding God’s house always revealing the antichrists and false leaders, always revealing the pastors and elders of the religious community. They are unable to figure it out, “Why do they do such things? We place our emphasis on love in our belief in the Lord, and is this an act of love?” Tell me, is this an act of love? If you are protecting the antichrists and the false leaders, then in turn, how are you treating God’s chosen people? Is that love? Is that love, or hate, or are you harming them? This is certainly an act that harms them. If you should reveal and expel the antichrists, if you should replace the false leaders, who benefits? Those who benefit are God’s chosen people, and is this not an act of love for God’s chosen people? The antichrists and false leaders are enemies of God’s chosen people, and if you love the antichrists, then you are harming God’s chosen people; if you love God’s chosen people, if you desire to protect God’s chosen people, then you must reveal the antichrists and deal with the false leaders. Now there are some who have newly transferred from the religions, they are unable to see through this matter, and they think that: The way you reveal and handle the antichrists and false leaders, isn’t there no love? Then tell me, God hates Satan, God hates the Pharisees, does that mean God lacks love? Can you judge God thus? Do you have the truth and principles? This love is principled, and not a confused kind of love. God’s love, God’s righteousness, God’s holiness all contain truth and principles, for God is the truth. You keep measuring God with men’s conceptions, and it is so easy for you to resist God, it is so easy for you to act contrary to God’s wishes. The love that God speaks of is not something that you can comprehend, is this not the case? Now that we are clear on these words of God, now that we are done fellowshiping them, what kind of people are those who shall forever remain in God’s kingdom? It is those who truly submit to God’s judgment and chastisement and have achieved results, who have attained an understanding of God, are able to submit to God, and can sincerely worship God; those are the people that shall forever remain in God’s kingdom.
